we will now start the cockroach abuse afresh here
yes its ... FRIDAY!~
Morning!
uh huh...
this is the best day of the working week..
the only thing better in the working week is if it was friday.. AND payday at the same time
Payday!!! I have forgotten that yesterday was my payday! I go check my bank balance now!
morning all!
Beautiful morning...
it was a beautiful morning until my boss walked into the office
It's not quite a beautiful morning here. A friend and I planned to head to Melbourne City to try out this Korean restaurant but we postponed it due to the sizzling hot weather. It is soooo hot here, it's nasty!
I think I thrive much better in cooler climates.
city?
the F1 circus is in town..
chances are, the people pushed up their prices for this week..
last bits of Friday practise is going on now..

Prices of what? Accommodation, maybe. Food and transport prices remain the same. Well, at least, food in the places I frequent. I'm not venturing anywhere near the F1 this year - work and studies beckon, and the blardy lousy weather puts a damper on everything else.
Soon, I shall get to wake up to the thunderous roar of the F1 cars! Kewl!
hmmmm.. exactly 10 years ago, my friend was lamenting that the souvlaki prices went up A$1 during that week
well, depending on when i can get some leave and when my sister is returning, i might venture south for a visit somewhen in late June.. or July..
should be cold by then..
i really think it's global warming that's screwing up the weather badly... it's supposed to be autumn now there.. wonderful weather, dry.. cool... sunny...
while here in singapore, we've been rained on for a week... i mean, i enjoy the cool weather but the gloomy skies are getting to be a drag..
Haiz... I've been wanting to close a Jive Pad thread and start a new edition ever since I got my PC in late December, but until now, I keep missing the opportunity.

You know what's weird... it WAS Autumn about three weeks ago!! Remember me talking about my nosebleeds and how my body is signalling to me in other ways that it's Autumn already? Heck, there were even days when I felt pai seh dragging out my comfy Autumn wear only to see other people wearing Winter clothes with the thick furry collars and even gloves in the streets!
Then suddenly, back to Summer! Warmer than it had been for the entire Summer so far!
Crazy weather! A cold front is supposed to arrive next week but I no longer trust the weather forecast. I think the poor blokes there are being screwed up with the unpredictable weather. The forecast used to be extremely accurate but for the latter part of Summer, it's been totally unreliable.

the news said it was because of the la nina that's causing the wet weather in singapore...

yeah.. i read about that.. i keep wondering if these things are starting to get too frequent due to man-made events or something?
the mad boss starts her day..
why the hell is it she doesn't tell me to do those things yesterday when she was droning on for HOURS?
now then tell me when the Dy Dir is only in until 12, we will have to rush out EVERYTHING??

Eh... you're so full of facts can go around reminding people and showing off... but closer to home, have you actually solved your hemorrhoids problem or not?

Helloooo!!! Better make a packing list in case you miss out something that you can't get over there!
I spread my packing out over many many weeks... I just leave my luggage open and now and then, when I feel like it, toss in things that I need for my trips! Or, I would have a running list in my head and by the time I actually sit down to pack, I know what I need back-to-front liao!

Yah, I always have a packing list.. so that when I actually get down to the packing (which is usually the day before) I know what to throw in!

Orh... we two sama-sama! Hehe!
You know what would be terrible? Packing your MP3 player, and forgetting the cable so you cannot recharge. Or packing your digicam, and forgetting the SD cards and you're heading to a rural area where you can't get them easily nor cheaply.
But the ultimate worse thing is packing your luggage and then forgetting your passport, like kopi did once!
Poor kopi!
*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Going for the FS's colleague's little daughter's birthday party later.... I helped to order the cake from Royal Cakes. Si beh expensive..... $61.50 for 1.5kg.
But the service was horrendous.... be prepared for a super-long rant:
1. Last Wednesday I made a telephone booking, and I told the girl that 'I want Cake number WC20'. She claimed that it was not in her catalogue, and I told her: 'But it's right here on your website!!!!!'
She kept insisting she was right..... until she realised that she was reading the wrong catalogue. Kaoz....
I asked for an order reference number, but she said that I didn't need one. Bear this in mind....
2. A deliveryman from Royal Cakes called me yesterday, saying that 'Hi Sir, I'm on my way to delivering your 2kg cake to Island Resort at East Coast Park.'
The thing is..... my order is for TODAY, and I'm picking it up myself at their outlet later!
The deliveryman then said he would checked.... and he realised that the girl in (1) had messed up my order with some other person's order. Kaoz....
3). A full investigation was ordered, and the manager called me back to explain.
She referred to me as 'Madam Fauziah'...... those of you who know my real name would know that 'Madam Fauziah' is incredibly, incredibly far from my real name. And any damn idiot would know that 'Madam Fauziah' is a woman's name while my voice is surprisingly.... masculine.
She also asked me for my order number.... but because the silly girl in (1) didn't give it to me, I couldn't tell the manager.
I told her, point blank: 'HOW THE FLYING FREAK CAN I TRUST YOU IDIOTS TO FULFILL MY ORDER PROPERLY IF YOU CAN'T GET THE BASICS RIGHT?!?!'
I made her promise me that I would have no problems at all when I go to pick up the cake later..... or else......
Darnit... I need to go out under this sizzling hot sun to get a month-at-a-glance kinda diary... one month's calendar spread out over two pages, spiral-bound so can lie flat type. My course schedules are getting so confusing I'm so worried I'll start missing courses inadvertently.
Tamade... so much studying to do! *&#)@$*$#%!!! Won't increase pay substantially either, after all the blardy hard work!
