Went library just, return tibet book..and wooh..found many of them on the shelves (many pple oso kana tua like us)...
then go find china guidebook...arghh..i am too late, good ones kana taken liao..
wonder will i meet many kana-tibet-tua pple at china, same time as our group..

*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Bad headache.... slept at past 1 am last night, woke up at 6am, said my morning prayers, and woke up again at 7 am.
By right my experiments should end by this Friday..... but my prof wants me to continue with a few more experiments. Since the lab's funds for the final year students are busted, I've had to do some scraping, begging, and cajoling for the materials I need.
And I have to wait a couple of weeks for some of the components.... meaning that I'm gonna have to do some experiments 'under the radar'. Can't do anything for now till those components arrive.
Oh well..... as my prof pointed out, those experiments would make my thesis more complete.
Besides, he was even willing to pay for all those materials out of his own pocket if the lab had refused to pay any more.

Interesting fellow.... he's from Iceland, got his Master's and PhD in the US, and came to NUS a few years ago.
Good-natured, easygoing guy.... everyone likes him.

I tried absinthe .... I got hyper instead .... and streaked in the snow ... nearly lost something very important ... never again ...

btw.. i noticed about the stewardess case... the police didn't "do nothing then decided to later"
they could not charge the mad wife.. at that time, they could not charge her under singapore laws.. i think that changed very recently with the passing of some law..
now they are able to charge her so they did...
thing is, no matter what happens the people in SC will always think the worst..
so do find out the whole truth before ranting about things..

It's Autumn, for goodness' sakes! But it's been hotter than Summer! I'm so tired, I ache all over, and I don't really look forward to going to work today.
Attending the seminars AND having to work is wearing me out already. I seem to face some sorta mental resistance when trying to master ECG Interpretation... think I must be getting older or stupider, or both... -

jiu zai kuo is equally lovely. Me and mrs seveneleven have always wanted to go there are seeing some of those pics taken but never really made it there becoz of kids. Maybe soon, we will be able to make it there

SQ are a bunch of idiots.. i think they got bought over by a bunch of charlatans who were their con-men-sultants...
just look at the various enforcement agencies who got con-men-sultants and turned into some kind of "service oriented" agencies.. now they've lost the respect of the people and worse, are seen as "lousy service providers"
the respect they lost is causing a lot of problems and is something they may never win back again... just look at the people out there making fools of them.. and their senior management is so sold on the "service culture" that they demand their staff to bend over and be sodomised by these people..
oh well.. they forget that their staff, when motivated by pride in their work and when they command the respect of people, will do their best and give their right arms not to shame their organisation..
now, even the staff look at their own organisation with disrespect, what do you think will happen to the organisation?

It's really quite sad that the Opposition Singapore has are mostly clowns. If only we had the Opposition fielding candidates with more clout and who are respectable members of the community.

i dunno.. i'd put food in front of him, and clear it when he doesn't want to eat..let him starve..
we're not forcibly taking away his right not to eat.. in fact, we're giving him food..
let's see how long he'll last..
