Originally posted by Rhonda:AV, wanted to tell you that just a few hours ago, I returned home after work and watched Episode 6 of Dexter. That's where he showed fear at being caught for the double murders he did on the Coyote and his wife.
That episode was when I started to really like the protagonist.
the show just keeps getting better...kopi got me the DVDs for season 1 and 2!!
season 2 got lots of gratitious nudity courtesy of the lovely jamie murray
My mind feels like it's going to burst and spill out all its bloody, messy contents! Learning all that ECG Interpretation and other essential ICU stuff is so tough! I actually feel stupid...

Hmm... so did they finally catch the serial killer who taunts him? I got a feeling by the end of Season 1, they might have come close to catching him, but he managed to slip away, thus lending fodder for a Season 2! Am I right?
I like how maladjusted Dexter is, and yet, he managed to appear 'normal'. Too many of us have to keep up a 'normal' front as well, but thank God not too many of us are pathological serial killers! Harhar!

whenever i feel stupid, i go look at SC and suddenly i feel like Einstein beside those barely-sentient semi-retards who infest the place

yeah.....the fascinating thing about dexter morgan is that he is a sociopath keeping up the appearance of normalcy......even his choice of girlfriend is carefully calculated i.e. those who are themselves 'damaged' and less likely to notice him for what he really is. as for the plot details...I dun spoil it for you..you'll have to find out on your own!
i like this Dexter better

That's the good thing about me only watching TV series on DVD - I get to watch as many episodes as I desire at any one time! Thing is, lately, juggling work and studies meant that I keep falling asleep in front of the TV, waking up to the strains of that spooky Dexter orchestra music at the end of the episode. Same reason why I gave up watching CSI on TV - I know how every episode begins, but never know the endings.
I liked how Dexter, after receiving erm... pleasure from his girlfriend who dressed up as Lara Croft during Halloween, kinda grumbled that women expect the relationship to be 'taken to another level' after sex!
You know, I've been toying with the idea of actually writing a novella... and I actually do have a few ideas floating around in my head. And what's really interesting is that my choice of genre - dark comedy comes up tops! Sardonic wit, bleak humour, sarcasm... my chosen writing style!
I think my daily exposure to really way-out characters at work provides fuel to my imagination!

Oh, those bunch of quick-to kpkb people make me shudder at the gloomy future Singapore will have in the hands of the likes of them.

Hmm... so Dexter ends up being a 'normal' male afterall!
I really liked Episode 6 where the boy ended up seeing Jesus in the yard. I thought that was one neat trick to introduce hope in an otherwise pretty bleak episode.
Sigh... can't wait to get this studying thing out of the way because right after that, I want to learn driving, buy my Toyota Yaris, and then pick up at least two other Asian languages!
Did I tell you guys that I bumped into a reeeeeely dishy Aussie bloke in Facebook whilst I went around petting fluffies? We've been emailing each other daily for more than a week now.

He can always change the choice of restaurant either today or tomorrow.
Alright, the more I watch Nigella cook, the more I doubt if she can really cook. The way she goes about it is a little too poised, too rehearsed, too unlike how good cooks normally go about cooking. Sorry guys, but I think she doesn't hold a candle to most of the other cooks in the Food channel.
My meeting just ended
Rhonda *hugs*
*waves fists at AV*
Rhonda did you see my photos from pics of the day and night

Hehe MPB doesn't like Nigella. He just declared to me the other day that he thinks she can't cook.

some of her recipes don't work.. some do..
but it's her choice of words and the way she describes what she's doing that is so good to watch...
.. and you are on your way to gorgeousness
Elindra, how can you feed the poor live Tiger prawns to your predators?! You know I used to love keeping live prawns as pets alongside my fishes and I love to watch them swim around with all their little feet going so fast.
Your aquarium is getting to be too crowded liao. Time to buy that large aquarium! But MPB is right - if you buy that, you do have to give up your smaller tanks. Or just keep one in case you need to isolate one of your pets.
