Good. MPB thinks with his superior brain! Most of the guys who swoon over her are just swayed by her flirtatious manner and her charms. She seems to flirt with the camera all the time. I won't really hail her as a cook. A real cook is usually chor loh, like Fang Tai or like the Barefoot Contessa. Even the famous chefs, if you see them in action, are very fast and not necessarily gentle.

Your aquarium is getting to be too crowded liao. Time to buy that large aquarium! But MPB is right - if you buy that, you do have to give up your smaller tanks. Or just keep one in case you need to isolate one of your pets.
Easy I kill the prawns first before deshelling them to feed my Gulper cat. I cannot feed it with the head on as the horn on the prawn might pierce my expensive fish throat!!! I have freshwater shrimps in the tank too but those are food :P
Where got crowded
Still got so much space for piggy but hor I wanna own a Tig. The guy who sold me the Gulper said I can buy his 16 incher for $450 bucks which is a pretty good price and he assured me of it's pleasant personality too

But hor guys who think with their big brain instead of the little brain is harder to manage.
Don't say I don't warn you. Hard to use marital rights to get your way...almost impossible :(

oh.. Fang Tai is a fraud.. her "recipes" don't work..
i didn't pay attention to this.. it was my late grandma who one day just said that what she's doing will cause the vegetables to go limp and the prawns to become soggy.. then told me why.. and guess what? grandma was right!
then i started to look a little.. most of the time, what she did was to slather cornstarch onto the things, no matter what it was.. then mom got into the act.. and said that she watched Fang Tai and her cooking will end up a mess..
true enough.. in the years of cooking, i made the same mistakes Fang Tai was teaching people.. and the results were always a mess...
sometimes, watching "cooking" shows isn't for the cooking.. just like Bourdain, it stopped being about food and cooking into the third series
but i WILL go to Bali and have that Roast Pig!

go do it.. it's easy especially if you do the automatic transmission license..
The problem is, I can't juggle the course fees and the subsequent temporary drop in income as some work hours are sacrificed for school, nor would I be able to have the time to learn driving whilst doing the course.
You have no idea how intense the Post-Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing gets. Everyone who went through it, or are going to it, scream bloody murder! I start the prelude to the actual course in June... I am quite fearful of the theory and the clinical hurdles I have to demonstrate competence in. I think going through my Management and Office Admin courses were easier - you can kinda bluff your way in those subjects, but not in Nursing / Medicine / Science / Maths / Law...
I am keen to do the course though... because by the end of it, I will be as good as the rest of my mates! So good that I can glance at the ECG on the screen and diagnose, "This guy has a past history of IHD in the anterior section of his heart and he also has a 3rd degree heart block right now."
Even better still, go up to the doctors and tell them, "I think the patient has an ischaemia and we have to send him to the cath lab to be stented stat!"
Exciting!

I've never tried any of Fang Tai's recipes. I was too young then. I only remember thinking that she's really chor lor and she uses ONE dish cloth for every blardy thing! Even at that young age, I remember thinking, "Oh gross! How unhygienic is that?!"
Guess I was meant to be in healthcare!

How about this - I want a man who uses his big brain to deal with the world, and his smaller brain to deal with me?

Erhmm those are very rare leh
Usually if he use his big brain to deal with the world, he will use his big brain to deal with you too >.<" unless he is 'cheap' Haha
uhh.. learning to drive no need brain one..
it's like taking a break from studying... go there, train muscle memory and reflexes..
but i guess it's hard to find time when studying and working.. i thought of trying that out once and realised i'd end up with a piece of paper saying MBA and learning a lot of crap which i know is wrong (why, see the mess in the economy of the US now caused by the MBA people)
i'm running off.. i'm tired.. and a bit frustrated at work...
one more day to the long weekend!

I know I'm attracted to smart men... but having one who's too smart for his own good gets boring... Imagine the dishes getting cold and Mr Smartie-Pants is still expounding some theory and won't shut up and start eating!
Or imagine if you're feeling amorous and Mr Big Brain is too busy working on work that he brought home or reading trade/industry magazines or the news channel.
Hmm... I think I go get two cats for companionship is good enough!

If he won't shut up and go on and on, that is not a smart guy. A smart guy will not go on and on expounding some theory and pissing his wife off while the food gets cold. LOL.
And the other example is a workacholic

one more day to the long weekend!
Out of the seven years I spent in the corporate world, five were spent juggling night classes with work.
I cannot, for the life of me, understand WHY I'm getting into this again, except for my great love of the ICU and my desire to do a lot of good to the sick and vulnerable who come under my care in the Unit.
I feel that I'm no longer as bright as before though. I seem to face an uphill hurdle when assimilating facts. It seems as if I've become 'stupider'!
Ah well, driving might not be 'relaxing' for me, not if I have to learn to drive in my neighbourhood, which has lots of busy intersections and major roads! Also, don't forget how important defensive driving is here, due to the crazy teenage hooligans, the drunks, and the drug addicts.
goodness

I'm now reading this silly book, "The MANual", written by a male American model, telling women what goes on in a dude's mind.
Thing is, I think he's a sleazebag because he confesses to having slept with 'hundreds' of women. And I can't believe that Oprah actually interviewed him and recommended his book! Men like him are sexy and dishy, but he's good only as eye-candy, not as a mate for life! I can't believe that there are women out there silly enough to actually gobble up everything he has written about and putting them into practice!
Ah well... it takes all sorts to make the world tick!

Sigh... just last weekend, I met my dream man...
He's a contemporary British man who is now an Aussie. He played Rugby in his younger days. Now, he's a Managing Director. The minute I stepped into his room, I felt something different about him. He just had this 'it' factor. He's in his 40's and oooh, he's soooooo gorgeous! I feel myself blushing just talking to him...
Darnit... he's married with kids!

Usually the very eligible men are married or gay
OK, to cheer myself up, I'm going to dig into that slice of Lemon Tart and watch Dexter.
See you again, Pinky and AV! Take care, everyone!
