looking forward to the road trip....a lot of walking, with my 2 bags...and if needed, we ride horse siah...
we may even go sleep in the local huts at the rural areas..

Hello everybody,
Managed to find a computer and internet access.
Taken about 1,000 pcs many many snow, glaciers, mountains, yaks.
Here is very very very cold, it drop to 3*C and is snowing..romantic and beautiful.
1st day, reached chengdu...nothing much to do, but our agency and hotel located at the tibetan area (like in a city, where there is a chinatown, here is tibetan town). Every 10-20m, sure got police car and bikes and many many riot police around. siren on, bike patrolling, people kana checked.
at night we (5 of us) watched by the window. one instance, tibetan monks run, police chase. another instance, tibetan young "gangster style" youth nearly crashed with the police and are assorted out (with anger).
they knew we are tourist, the police and tibetan been treating us nice...and smile to us, make us feel better...:)
