  Yeah man..... rising food prices isn't a uniquely Singapore phenomenon.... it's everywhere.

  I can't say that you can put the blame squarely on the government when they don't really have a say in this sort of thing....

  You want price controls? Sure thing..... just be prepared for the kind of insane shortages the idiots up north experienced not too long ago.....

  I admit I do have my biases against a certain nationality but other than that I'm ok with other foreign students and that is because of bad experience with that certain nationality
