  Actually hor I'm thinking of just stopping at Japan and going around to look at their giant aquariums :x

  I'm kinda lazy to fly around too :x

  i plan to go to Japan to look at the aquariums too...

  i love looking at the fishies in aquariums.. and in Japan, they have wonderful things like the Mola-mola, manta rays and whale sharks

  I've been to three I think. All were wonderful. You must visit Hakkeijima Sea Paradise. Lots to see and do. Amusement park attached too. There is another one near our favourite Yunnesen onsen, can't remember the name of that. There is another one, right on the ocean, argh!!! Why can't I remember the names?!?!?!?

  From what I understand in Japan for pet fishes, you get the really top grade stuff

  I don't know about top grade stuff since I wasn't interested in fish when I lived in Singapore. I'm still not that interested.  The stores where I lived at really had lots of variety. Too bad I don't live there anymore or I could show you.

  I know you can get a lot of exotic pets in Japan. It would be so interesting to just see.

  Talk about exotic pets. I think it's so cruel. There were a couple of those stores right outside the base and we had to walk by them each time we went shopping off base. These animals were housed in small cages and some were placed outside the store, no matter what the season. I just hated having to walk by and having to see them suffer like that.

  As for giving you the addresses, if you haven't been to Japan you'll know why it's hard to do. The streets are a labyrinth. If you'll be in Tokyo, it'll be easier to ask a local there or the concierge there for information. Where I used to live is three hours away from Tokyo.

  => Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium

  => Toba Aquarium (Toba Prefecture)

  i want to go to the aquariums.. and i plan to soon..

  time for me to take some time off to travel.. after all this shit i went through the past 2 years, it's time for me to at least use up some of my alloted leave to do something instead of losing it and using it to recover just enough to be thrown back once more into the breach..

  Not just Tokyo, everywhere! When I lived off base, and when friends wanted to visit, what a hassle! You have to direct using landmarks or telephone poles.

  it's become a given that i'm going to do stuff even when i've said i was going on vacation.. i am putting my foot down this time

  sometimes, a sense of responsibility becomes a detriment..

  going to a whole lot of places.. however, NorthAm is still along way aways.. i don't think my back can still stand up to the stresses of a 24-hour flight
