I thought it was a simple cavity until my dentist said it wasn't.

Eh, ai see ah. That's a bad and painful pun hor. *piakz&
Look like a grain of rice ar the root :P
Went thru root canal long time back.
One of my tooth has bubbles formed inside it and the dentist drilled, same ole thing with about 4 needles to numb the place and extracted the roots and then fill up with white ceramics or something.
Too bad my broken tooth recently cannot be saved with root canal, so the dentist took out the whole tooth and the root that was stucked on my lower sinus cavity.
You never know that a simple dental visit is just so simple, because you never know what the dentists might find where you can see in your mouth.
I had my wisdom teeth at the age of 19. Went to have two of them extracted a few years later because it got infected and I kept running a fever. It was pretty traumatic, although I remained calm. It was so bad that I didn't return to have the remaining two extracted till today!
Good luck, jetta! You will lose weight after the procedure one!
i find the whole experience very nice actually...besides the fact that my dentist was a buxom lady and she keeps rubbing her lady lumps whenever she leans..but thats for another forum..
they will clean the cavity first before using a "scraper" to scrape the pulp of ur teeth and surrounding area..they will numb the nerve of course..then the dentist will use a filler and plug it securely..thats all...
for pre molars or molars..i suggest extraction..saves u money and the plucking is kinda relaxing..
Well, *haiz* after this morning's consultation, D-Day is set for 10am, May 29th.
that's.. more than a month away!!

Nothing I guess. Endodontist says my pain stems from a crack in the molar. *too many cashews, haiz* I go in the day after my Mum visits.
i had one about a year ago. cost about 300 if i remember correctly. the whole treatment was about an hour. damn unconfortable!!!
