LF, since you inspected almost all the toilet stops along the way, how come you didn't take any photos of the toilets? I think you're more hardworking than the toilet inspectors there!

No need to pack those when travelling to America or to Australia because there is a vast array of OTC meds here.
I was surprised that stuff like Ibuprofen, Voltaren, Ponstan, etc are sold OTC here!

true, but sometimes late at night, if got emergency.. its always best to have the med that you know and on hand.. its not a lot to pack anyway..

Yeah... I used to travel with a tiny little case of medication just in case. However, these days, with stringent airport checks, carrying pills around might not be a good idea cause you may be scrutinised as some potential drug user or something.
i brought along the doc issued diahorrea pills, handyplast, medicated oil, sweet/sour prunes, carbon pills, aqua tablets, and alcohol wipes.
the only thing i forgot is heat packs. lucky the puke one sold me 5 big packs ones... which were very useful especially at night.
cold hands cold feet.....
after a nice long night (after puking the previous nite cos of bloated tummy, too much oily food)...
woke up fresh and light...then open window....ahhhhhh so beautiful.. it was snowing yesterday nite and i slept thru it..
it was still snowing light now...so magical..
from my room window..
happily got ready and hopped down to breakfast table and on the way, saw our sifu clearing the thick snow from the vehicle..
btw, he hid the vehicle at the backyard, to avoid being seen. I think to ward any unnecssary hassles from "potential robbers" and "gong-ans".
a lovely guard dog who was howling at my kakis...
I make eye contact with it for some time, it eventually gave up and bor-chap us liao... and then stood there, let me take pics..
we decided to take a 30min walk around the hotel..
then on the road liao...
see my 2 kakis pee-ing, i did mine some bushes away !
more mountains scnery on the way..
and stream
bushes
and more mountains
occassionally some sheeps
then comes one of the most exhilerating experience of all..
Braving thru' the SNOW MOUNTAIN, NO-MAN LAND, NO COMMS NETWORK, FREEZING LIKE MAD, ONE NARROW ROAD, used by BIG CONTAINERS/TIBETAN TRUCKS and small cars/vans.
The snow-covered road are so slippery..!! Sometimes, we have to put chains to the van to grip onto the road.
Everytime have to give way, or Sifu skillfully "narrowly missed" the other truck by sliding the van to the edge of the cliff, so the other vehicles can cross.
At the side of the big cliff, one inch wrong move, the van can just topple down the bottomless cliff, and that's bye bye to us too.
There was once, 2 truck got entangled. Took 1 hour plus to solve the problem..
i found him shooting there...hahahaaha..
