I did hear from colleagues that their friends who went to Fifteen were a tad disappointed and they felt it was all hype.
I'm tightening my belt now, because I have huge bills to pay and I need to save a pretty large sum before I embark on my Deakin U course. So looks like Nobu will have to wait for a long while yet!
so u are a PR? if else i dunt get u....are u working to save up on your deakin course?....

I'm going to be sponsored for a Deakin Post-Grad Diploma course by my employer. They will be footing 75% of the course fees. However, I've found out that my income will drop by 40-50% for the duration of the course, therefore, it's best to save up a tidy sum first before embarking on it, as I see most of the current batch of students struggling not only with the intensity, challenges and difficulties of the course, they are also struggling financially and leading a hand-to-mouth existence, with a few running on deficit! Scary...
hmm..nobody told me that Nandos is good over here.. Nor nobody told me Italian food on Lygon Street is great.!

These two issues Club 30 folks have been talking about forever liao! Too bad you aren't regular enough in here to have picked that up.
Anyways, everyone has been telling you that Frankston is not such a safe area but you don't seem to heed leh.
Tell you now, Pho in Victoria Street is fantastic. So is the Lemon Tart at Cafe La Strada along Bridge Road.
You missing Singapore / Malaysian food yet or not?
OK, tell you now, on Saturday and Sunday, 17 & 18 May, there will be a Budda's Day fair in Federation Square. I first attended the fair in 2006 and there were lots of stalls there selling Asian snacks. You might even get laksa that day, if lucky. Think they have the Vietnamese version of the chai tow kway as well. There's also some sorta concert and performances on a makeshift stage.
Go there, mingle with the crowd, sit on the patch of grass and have a picnic.
Or walk towards the back, sit on a bench, eat your snacks, and look out at Yarra River. Usually you'll be able to catch people rowing their boats. Good photo opportunities!
btw, isnt there a 2 year study requirement thing where u study in a course and get yoursef into the SOL list and u work for 2 years?
