they want to see ppl's travelling pattern
but pls, they love to remove direct buses force ppl to make multiple transfer to 'maximise resources' whenever a new MRT line comes, sometimes it ends up longer travelling time and more expensive fares
but I bet the result comes out favourable to them one
in other news... there would be a public emergency exercise on May 23, Friday

Well, dammit! Their chauffeured limousines have windows, don't they. Can't they just look out the window when they drive past the bus stops and above-ground MRT stations to see the crowds??
Oh, waitaminit. The tinted windows of their limos work both ways...

you know the 2-way mirrors?
they use it the other way around... the mirrored side is inside so they can block out the general citizenry while admiring themselves..
the general citizenry can look in... and that's all they can do..
and that's how the elite want it to remain...

The chief of SMRT once defended her decision to drive her Mercedes to work....
She said that she didn't work to earn all this money to take public transport every day....
I guess that answers why SMRT's buses are totally run-down and in terrible shape. They all smell musty, have dusty seats, and the backs of the seats look as though Muhammad Ali used them for his sparring sessions.

Strangely, I can understand why she said that, but it smacks of absolute arrogance when taken in the context of her job responsibilities.
I came home from a work dinner
Really yummy food.
MPB is out drinking with his friends but I called him anyway because the Gulper looks like it was going to explode
Also you should see the goldfishes trying to hunt guppies to eat

Oh yeah.... Dhoby Ghaut Exchange is a total flop....
The three most important rules for setting up shop: location, location, location.
And simply put.... hardly anyone ever walks past Dhoby Ghaut Exchange.

I don't care about such aspects......but it is the total degradation of TIBS's fleet which was once known to be one of the most adventurous among Asia that has to be the worst part.

Another very interesting was over fare adjustment issue... I remembered one year, SMRT asked for 30c fare hike over cash fares... eventually nothing went thru for tat yr cos SBS never asked for any adjustment on cash fares
