The reason behind the gorging is because today falls in the middle of a four-week gap between people giving up New Year diets and starting new ones to get in shape for summer holidays.

I don't know about individuals, but some of their programmes are almost too funny. I'm not talking about 'Blackadder' and such, but have you seen 'Nevermind The Buzzcocks' or 'Have I Got News For You'?
