  NO!!! Please don't do that... If you ever been around horses you'd find they're very kind creatures, just like dogs! How can you bear to do that? I'm sure you're against eating dog meat, no?

  I've been around horses

  I know they are nice creatures but that doesn't mean that I don't think about eating them

  Sheep are nice creatures so are pigs and chickens and ducks. I eat them.

  And as for dogs, as long as they are not my pet, I'll eat them too

  I am against the stupid BS that some animals are more equal than others.

  "Oh you should not eat it coz it's cute/intelligent/etc"

  The only animals I won't eat are those going extinct or threatened

   

  If I'm against eating animals, I'll go vegetarian but that is not going to happen

  I'm not against eating agricultural products. Dosmeticated chickens, pigs, ducks are ok to consume IMHO as they provide sustenance and help maintain the economy.

   

  Horses are slaughtered for their meat when they're too old to work or sustained serious injuries during their race career. It makes me sad to think of that. For me, it is not morally sound to consume horse meat based on these emotions. Yes, I feel for them, so what?

  I think that eating them is ok, so what?

  It's the same thing

  Even if humans don't eat them, they get processed into petfood. Think of it this way that even in their death, they are still contributing to the ecosystem. I think it is not morally sound to waste.

  It's effectively 2 different school of thoughts
