for holidays, i like to rough it out...experienced the diff cultures, the transportation, the rough-out-chong-sua, exploring the weird corners/scenery, enjoy their festivals, blend in with the locals, enjoy their local food, and sometimes...lost our ways....muahahaahahha..
tonight is the night~ tonight is the night!
eh, around 6pm... got ERP charges or not?
for food, i like to slowly taste the food and enjoy it...
especially at local eating places...
not the pretty pretty ex. places...:)
i think i blend in very well in BKK. *proud*

he has a very good eye for creativity photography, even just a subject from the street...
..that got him always winning something...so lucky him.
motivation!
*change to sort into paragraph...*
you can't "learn" a good eye for pictures
I'm more interested in these... woooooo~ song ah~
how the hell do u get a photo like this??
Originally posted by the Bear:you can't "learn" a good eye for pictures
i do believe that observing and learning techniques for different situations from the experts will help.
but yeah, you can't learn a good eye for pictures.
alamak, the above are staged photography..
talking about a great eye, is when he just won the 1st prize of an event . by taking an old man sweeping the floor @ sichuan.
the prize is good enough that he gotten back his entire 15-day sichuan $$$$$....from the prize..
*bows to him*
who says learn a good eye..??
it's learning the techniques and lightings lah..
I think the photos r photoshopped right
Like that is photoshop skills also ma
of course, i'm all for staged photography. why do u think i stopped wedding photojournalistic photos? i'm just totally not interested in that.
with planned shoots, i get the photo i want, the photo that makes money and gives me more paying customers. honestly, i get more joy editing photos then running around shooting.
if you really want to know how u fare, go send your photos for a competition. its no loss anyway. the last competition i joined, i got top 20 for the commonwealth photo competition and the photo was taken when i was just shooting for fun, the shot was so tyco somemore. needless to say, its not my interest to join competitions anyway so i don't bother.
you'll never know where u stand if u don't even send it for competitions. the photos that have won are not THAT fantastic anyway. who knows, u don't like ur photos but other people like it.

yeah man! i love photoshop!
that's the thing about commercial photography now.
taking photos is not enough, u have to photoshop it. and make sure you are damn good at it.
commercial photography nowadays take up less time than processing on photoshop
what i look in a photo is signature effects and the "feel" of the subjects.
is it fun? wacky?
look at the photos, its as straight as it can be.
no fancy angles, its pure interaction. i like it!
with super editing, i LOVE it!
Seriously these days a lot are photoediting experts are damn power!!!!
I feel like taking a course on photoshop coz I only know the basics

no point taking a course because these experts combine the basics and made up their own style.
u go to a course, they will teach you the basics. after that... how u mix and match them all up is up to u. if you really wanna learn techniques, buy magazines and google is readily available.
alot of techniques i learnt from magazines and google....
do u know that some photographers don't edit their photos? they just shoot then pass it on to a re-touching artist. steady leh~ like that more time to relax!
Ok ok back to crabs
This is not jive pad

huh huh..sounds like the future me...
Re the outing, I think it's most fair for everyone to pay their own share unless they wanna share that particular dish coz there will be big eaters and small eaters around and those that dun eat crab.
Not fair for them to subsidize for something they don't eat.
