  Speaking of roaches in shoes... I once put on my army boots without realising there was a roach in there as well. And yes, I squished it.

   

  I gotta remember to spray my boots' insides with a good dose of Baygon before my upcoming ICT.... I haven't worn them in almost a year.

  I hate roaches too.

   

  The thing is.... they kind of enjoy laying their eggs in my boots.

   

  My favourite way of killing them is by applying Newton's First Law on them. Hard.
