locations of deserted beaches, cool forest clearing

well theres gota be some in Singapore, i really wana play punk and camp illegally overnight in some deserted beach or some forest clearing. see those makeshift camps by illegal workers in jungle areas...cool rite??? wonder if i can build a treehouse at some explored jungle areas.
so so...any club 30ers know of any deserted beaches or some nice illegal campgrounds in the mainland or any offshore islands? pls pls share.

problem is.. when u tell people about it... then it won't be deserted anymore.

but really.. lots of nice places in sg..
when i was young i used to love going to Yishun Dam.. it used to be rather deserted, maybe just some fishermen, a couple of couples...
and then it was featured on TV.. and now.. look what happened.. loads of rubbish left behind by picnickers who don't appreciate it beyond the temporary.

yeap yeap...im a big advocate of keeping these places clean too, i didnt even light up a cigarette when i was trekking in macritchie...so proud of myself

i suggest looking up a map.. then you check for the parts which are near the sea and not part of the "beach" like say East Coast Park.. then go recce..
i bet there are many out there off the beaten track

no lah. actually the places also not say very out of the way (in singapore there isn't any real out of the way anyway)...just mebbe opportunity for a bit of space, peace and quiet....

haha...somehow the smell of grass, leaves, jungles doesnt make me crave for cigarettes. i just love trekking at these places, escape the hustle and bustle of my mundane job. you can imagine how im daydreaming now in my office :p

ur idea of adventure is fun but highly dangerous..deserted areas like you mentioned aoften contain illegal immigrants, vice dens, gambling dens..in short, desperadoes..even police will not enter them unless they are on ops.these people are very desperate and often patrol the area with big parangs or other arms and very willing to attack even police.
so when u find such huants..do have fun =)

go to Kranji Road...not really deserted..but not many people.. another location is Punggol Beach.... go somewhere further away from the jetty
