To all here who are Dads... Got any plans for Sunday?
I think I'm going to surprise the hubby with a fishing pole and heading to the nearby lakes. I've never gone fishing before and I don't know if I'll like it but I'll try anything once.
well, you got to catch worms and maggots and ickky things like that, and stick the worm through the hook, see that they squirm and writhe in agony then throw them into the water so that their death throes can attract fish...
the fish will eat the ickky creepy crawlie.. and you will duel with the fish as it struggles for its life with a hook impaled in its lip, dragging it towards its doom..
if it escapes, it'll have a ripped mouth and will be too exhausted to fend off its predators..
if it doesn't, you'll probably eat it.. along with the creepy crawlie...
ain't fishin' fun?
oh.. happy father's day to Mr Jetta

I used to think Mother's Day falls on the 2nd Sunday of May for every country, until a Polish colleague told me that in Poland, it's celebrated on May 26 every year.
Did some research & found that Mother's Day is celebrated on the following dates in various countries:
United Kingdom/England: Mother's Day is called Mothering Sunday and falls on the fourth Sunday in Lent.
France: First Sunday in June or last Sunday in May
Much of South America (as well as Mexico), Bahrain, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates: May 10
Mexico: - May 8
Albania: - March 8
Russia: - November 28
Poland: - May 26
Indonesia: - December 22
Egypt: - March 21
Norway: - February 13
Thailand: Birthday of Queen Sirikit Kitiyakara - August 12
Sweden: Last Sunday in May
Lebanon: First day of Spring
Norway: The second Sunday in February
Austria, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Taiwan, Hungary, Portugal, South Africa, Spain: First Sunday in May
Antwerp (Belgium), Costa Rica: Assumption day - August 15
Argentina: The Día de la Madre - The second or third Sunday in October
Interesting, huh?
my dad just called and said : "hey daughter, i bought a pair of shoes for mom ..only $118....I told mom u sponsor....see ya tonight"...
then i heard a train of laughters after that...and that's from my mom and dad...before they hang up the phone.
Happy Dad Day....
