Wal-Mart Cake
It took me a second, but make sure you read the story under the picture.
Keep in mind this actually really did happen. This is someone who was moving from an insurance claims office.
Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
Walmart Employee: 'Hello 'dis be Walmarts, how can I help you?'
Customer: ' I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.'
Walmart Employee: 'What you want on the cake?'
Customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne' and underneath that 'We will miss you'.
STOP LAUGHING! You can't fix stupid!!!
The stupid spelt 'underneath' wrong too
that fella prolly have sponge cake for brains
Ah, the wonders of public schools in this country...

Well, what do you expect when most of their merchandise is made in China?
(The cake, however, was probably baked at the store.)

If the cake were baked in China, it would probably contain lead in the food colouring.
The walking shoes I wear to work daily were purchased from Wal-Mart. They're Wal-Mart's house brand and are made in China. They're incredibly comfortable but usually last about three months before the soles crack and/or delaminate. However, they're dirt cheap at $9.50/pair, and it's not going to break my bank shelling out that amount to replace them every three months.

Nope. Every 12 months--just after Christmas, to be exact, when the local Wal-Mart store liquidates its seasonal items at half-price.

For the past few weeks, the news here has been heralding the soon-to-be arrival of Cosco! They will be opening their first branch in Melbourne, followed quickly by another in Sydney. We're waiting with bated breath because Coles, Walmart, and ... can't remember the third supermart chain that starts with a letter 'S', aren't playing fair with their price increases! We could sure do with more competition!
I only hope that they will locate Cosco in a central location. Otherwise, if it's not accessible via public transport, it becomes kinda pointless...
jetta, that cake makes me laugh till my sides hurt! Stupidity has reached a new level!!
The thing is, the order would have gone passed through a few other employees besides the silly operator, and yet, NO ONE detected the error?

That's good news. Annual membership here is US$40 but shopping there more than makes up for the fee. Their gas prices is one of the lowest (the base is lower) around. I fill up there when I can't make it to the base. I love their cakes.

Glad it perked you up. Contrary to what people think, many Americans don't speak, spell or read well.
Following Instructions to a "T", but not yet... there is still not perfect... "underneath"
i prefer Albertson Bakery.
