$950.
I did try out the D300 but realised that I really do not miss chiong suaing with big heavy cameras and lenses lol
And the GX200 has a very good control layout, even thumbwheels for easy adjustments on the fly without having to access menus. Very well thought out camera. You can even save 3 different sets of settings which can be accessed by turning the top dial. You can shoot DNG RAW, and even in square format. The black and white mode is pretty good, with a set of adjustments you can make in-camera to tweak the look you want. The pop-up flash is also really good, not just an afterthought. Can adjust manual power, exp compensation, front or rear curtain sync etc. I also bought a small Sigma flash to use with it though

Whoa!! The colours are very vibrant and the shots look very pro!
I thought you had paid thousands for your camera and was very surprised at the price tag! It's a really good purchase!
LF, last summer, I tried to take close-up's of bees hovering over the abundant pink blossoms of a tree behind my block but biangz... almost kena stung because I didn't realise how much I had leaned into their 'territory'! Scary!!
