This bring to mind about how we dress.
My sequence is always: undies>pants/skirts> bra> make up >deodarant, perfume/cologne > top/dress & finally jewellery/watches then the heels.

But with those SC idiots around, Singapore can never do any right and all other countries (esp ang moh countries) can never do any wrong. Their chronic constipation must have produced toxic vapours that have clouded their brains!
It is sooooo funny to read of them trying to correct Brey on facts about living in Australia when they have probably only set foot here as tourists!

It's a Thai name and they have a website
And they have shops in USA and Canada too

No deear, I have no arguements with Brey's comment. Its the TS that I kinda feel has soemthing wrong.
Life is tough in sg, and I agree wholeheartedly. Look at it this way, i am preparing to run away to Thailand/Cambodia to live.
If job opportunities come up in USA/Canada or even Aust for a nanny job, I wouldnt mind.
Ts does not read like someone willing to begin life there as a mundane servant.
patches just went through the clothes line like a tornado and tore down a bunch of drying clothes ......
she's in the dog house now .... >.<

before that, there's an article on how the police are over-stretched .....
BUT still maintains a low crime rate as well ....
apparently, we have one of the lowest police to citizens ratio in the developed world ...
you know what I think ? ....
low crime rate cos many petty criminals are not caught ....
assault cases are not a sizeable offense in Singapore (), while if you hit anyone in a western country, even if it's a pub fight, you're going into the brig ..... here, you file a complaint in civil court ....
go to marina or boat quay late at night, and see the young punks hammering and smashing at each other .....
nevermind mas selamat .... low crime rate ? ... remember when neighbourhood police posts used to be 24 hours ? .....

Think so. A friend's hubby had to wait almost a year before he got hired.

I don't think so .... I know chaps in the line over there ..... some of them really CMI ... but they make a pretty good living doing mundane things like site tech support and code monkey work .....
in Singapore, you'd hire an ITE or poly chap for less than 2k a month, there, they get a uni grad and pay them 4k a month .....
lots of it go to taxes of course, but the jobs are certainly there ...

Yeah... yesterday, we had to get off the tram because some old drunk bloke in the tram before mine had accosted two ladies on board and two police cars drove by to arrest the lao drunk. I went up intending to offer any medical assistance if necessary but all looked well except the younger lady was crying and a bit shaken, so I walked on by.
Just because of that, the ENTIRE lane of traffic came to a standstill for about 20 mins.
You mean, neighbourhood police posts are no longer 24 hours?!!
The neighbourhood police post near my place is still 24 hrs leh

They basically just shoot their mouths off like coyotes howling at the moon or something, and then if you TRY and reason with them and bring a little bit of objectivity into their discussion, they'll resort to nasty name-calling and suddenly, the entire herd becomes ready to attack.
I've been saying we should just pack them all into a container and ship them over to Queensland and dump them there!

Police Stations in the suburbs here close after office hours, k. Then if you need the police, the 'nearest' police station that's manned will respond.
But, don't forget, the definition of 'nearest' in Australia is different!
