it's the same story in the states .... the average US worker simply cannot survive picking lettuce in california for $10 a day ...... only the illegals can and would ..... because they do not have to suffer the US's cost structure ....
see, that's the difference between Singapore and oz .... though both are net immigrants countries .... we have two different wage structures ... one for "FTs" ... and one for locals .....
the locals cannot compete ....
