i never had a pair of shoes more than $120 (when ah-gong paid for them) and more than $90 when i had to pay for them

Sigh..... just got a letter from my division headquarters....
The wording's so twisted that it took me a few attempts to make it out.... but essentially, they're saying that if my next birthday is after 1st October 2008, I have to pass IPPT before my current window closes (which would be 25th Jun 2009).... I'm no longer protected from RT.
I'm seriously considering signing up for IPT. I suck at overall physical fitness.

I don't believe in paying lots for running shoes ....
I bought a pair of $150 reeboks with my first paycheck at 16, the sole fell apart on them after a week .....
since then I have never paid more than $80 for a pair of running shoes .... wearing a pair of $60 nikes I bought at why-pay-more ... they work just fine ....

Well, the most I paid for shoes were a pair of Nike running shoes. Paid just over $100 for them. Still using them after two years.... though I think they'll disintegrate after the AHM.
Sigh.... I can run, but I ain't good at chin-ups and the SBJ.
