As for me, 10km is the max I can go without water. After that, my body temp starts going up and up.
I don't go thirsty during a run - but I need the hydration belt to squirt some water into my mouth when it starts to go dry, and to squirt some water on my head when I start to overheat.
After all, I only bring along 200ml of water.
i keep spitting to dry my mouth!!!!

I think it's a bit dangerous leh ....
I run at either East Coast Park or the Siglap Park Connector network.
I stay off the main roads and I don't blast my music. I make sure that I can at least hear external noises easily.
Besides, I had tinnitus back in JC.... I don't want to blast my music and risk coming down with it again.

more like depletion of potassium. i doubt it's the lack of H2O since i take about 4+ liters of it a day

i ride a bike with the things plugged on
what u talking about?
the people who dunno their surroundings are those who don't check blind spots when they change lanes!
applies to jogging too.
I don't like to drink when I jog, it gives me sitches .....
so I don't unless I absolutely have to ..... anything less than an hour's run, I don't think it's neccessary to bring water at all ...
dun drink alot
if u drink alot just before u jog u will kena stitches.

That's true. Lack of electrolytes can cause cramping.
I had heat cramps once in the army. And that was during a 24km route march.... dead in the middle of the night.
My calves were so badly cramped that I begged another medic to shoot an infusion line into my arm and to flush one liter of Hartmann's solution (saline solution) into my veins.
However, as it was 1 am and there was very little light, he didn't dare do it.
In desperation I snipped open a 1-liter packet of Hartmann's solution from my medical pouch and drank it all up.
24km route march, i'm one of those they put behind to push them!!
and best part is that my uniform is dry during the chiong sua phase, the SGT will ask me "not xiong enough ah?", because everyone else's uniform turned dark green. mine was bone dry!
think I'm going to try to take more pics like this one:

i'm just not as hardy as you lads! i've a problem with the nerves in my calves - sometimes it's blocked and can't send a signal to my brain to tell me where to put my foot. so i can't feel the ground in a sense...i fell in the middle of the road once but thank god, it was only in the neighbourhood

the fly one looks photoshopped but here's the kicker, I didn't do any post processing on it! I have no idea why the pic turned out the way it did lol
