Yes, that's Melbourne from you. That's one of the reasons I hate hanging around the city till late....
At least during peak hours, it's an express train and it takes 40min to get to my stop. After peak hours, the train stops at all stations which makes my journey home longer - 1 hour.

I think even if i buy i will wait until both starhub and m1 introduce also. More competition will make service better and price cheaper hopefully.

But at least the timings are accurate. So you can go off do whatever you want in the meantime. Unlike in sg you have to wait in there cos the timings are not accurate. + you don't know the timing till you actualyl get there -

Nope, NRA's not going to be here. And the only people with firearms will be the police and Secret Service personnel providing security for the event.
And they aren't kidding about security. During the week of the RNC (beginning Sept. 1), there will be a security perimeter enclosing a nine-block area of downtown St. Paul around the Convention Center. Public transportation will be rerouted around the secure area, and non-approved private vehicles will not be allowed to use any of the parking ramps within the perimeter.
Basically, it will be a clusterfcuk downtown during the convention. Many of the businesses located therein have encouraged their employees to either telecommute or go on vacation during that week. The federal building that I work in will be used as a command center by the Secret Service, and access to it will consequently be very restricted.
There will be protests and rallies during the entire week, and the St. Paul police force has requested assistance from the law enforcement agencies of neighbouring states in the form of additional police officers.
I'm planning to telecommute that week, but might come into work one day just to soak in the festive atmosphere and take pictures of protesters being given the beat-down by the police.

Everytime my friends and I start to organise some kinda outing, we end up staying home instead because of the long distances and travelling and waiting times.
We think about it all, we sian 1/2 liao! Heng ah, meeting you and mousehubby isn't such a royal pain. I still have to wait for the tram to bring me to the train station to wait for the train and overall, it adds up to about 1hr there + 1 hr back but it's still pretty alright cause Tram 109 is frequent and is my favourite!

Not sure but there's some sort of penalty if their performance drops below a certain %age, I think...

I'll be the last in Club 30 to own an iPhone, if ever.
I always like to buy a product / gadget after the initial bugs have all been sorted out and after the price has dropped somewhat. I don't really need to have that kinda connectivity and I definitely do not want to be strapped with extra monthly bills because I'm sure once I start using it, I'll surely consume way past the limit that comes with the plan and then end up paying so much more.
Forget it... I'm happy with my simple mobile.

It takes me 1 hr 30 min to reach school.
And that's on average- just now it took me 1hr 45min.
