kar chuahs are meant to be killed, not photographed
Great photos, av! What are the chances that you'll capture a damselfly?
Oh, you actually still have your 'Crawling in the Bushes' thread a few pages from here. =P
So pretty. My fav is dragon fly. I had honey bees tried to make a hive in the fake roof in my house... I didn't even notice but my MIL did and she called in the exterminators. sometimes, the bees still find their way to my place and fly into my room...

I wish we had those big fat fuzzy bumblebees here.
i remember from my primary school we had those fat bumblebees...
also we had huge green caterpillars in the front of the school too.. i was one of the fellas who were tasked to go pluck leaves for the caterpillars we caught for science...
they turned into bigass moths

I never see any bumblebees anymore. Even honeybees seem more rare these days.

tell you why.. it's because of asswipes like the fricken harpy i saw today at the swimming pool...
the swimming pool is surrounded by greenery.. so this mad woman is complaining to the lifeguards/pool people that there are insects and leaves in the pool.. and that the pool was "stagnant"
thing is, the guys were cleaning that "pool".. the guy told her that they had to shut down the thing for a while to clean the pool... then that mad woman demanded that they FOG THE ENTIRE AREA so that there are no more insects!!
well, the insects in question are a few bees (there is haliconia planted there), some ants and a few other normal insects like small wasps and whatnots..
and the mad woman was insisting they bugbomb the whole area!!
bees are generally very fuzzy one mah...
so my house got good luck to attract these bees loh... I rather bees than the minahs that shit all over the place and make a lot of noise

I always dream of owning my own large garden where I can grow the plants I like to help attract the bugs I like. Then I can shoot macro from the comfort of my own garden.
However, for that to happen, I need to rob a bank or migrate.
Today's catch:
Leaf insect thingy
Wasp (I think)
The rest are bees:

the weather was great this morning. overcast with no wind, great for insect porn.
Here's the wasp pic again with added contrast. I like it better like this:
