other than swensen, 18 chef, breeks, sweet recipe.. is there any other halal pasta place? wish pastamania has a halal branch.. =( i love pasta! my gf make de best.. cos she know i like spicy so she make until super spicy plus loads of mushrooms! =P

I love mushrooms or pine nuts with a little cream or done (aglio) olio-style. And there was this saffron cream sauce used for a dish at Herbs & Spices. The perfume of spices is a bit strong but it's nice nevertheless.
The squid ink I had at Waraku was with curry and udon....Pasta de Waraku isn't that nice though. La Strada is one of the few places that does carbonara with just egg yolks and butter (no cream).
Did I say that I love my gnocchi and canelloni as well?

i like plain pesto with olive oil tossed with pasta and mushrooms... tis is my diy type... usually i'll order something with white wine, just not cream based >.<

folks are out of town, so I have to forage for myself for the week ....
bought a can of sun dried tomato pesto today .....
mixed it with ordinary basil pesto with my fettucine today ...... shiok ! ....

I tried, I did ... downloaded the configuration sms from starhub .....
it just mess up my phone .... I can't even send out anything myself till I got rid of the thing ....
maybe starhub don't like singtel phones ....

no, I got a "free" phone .... but a friend of mine gave it to me ..... I don't have any phone contracts .....
as for the ink .. I have no idea too .... I used to go squid netting at night, and cuttlefish luring in the day ..... from my experience, squid and cuttlefish will promptly empty their ink sacs out of water .....

yeah.. i never figured that part out...
no matter what we do when we catch octopus, squid or cuttlefish, the result is a huge black mess...
where the heck do they get the ink sacs from?

maybe they use aneasthetics. knock the squid out b4 it can shoot or keep it under while the ink accumulates?
