There are a lot of things that can be found in SG but remember they are not legal and you face a very hefty fine if caught.
In other news my 2 new Gulpers just ate up 6 of my Red Face Monks -_-"
Maybe, Rhonda will be tempted to swap fishes for a cute pin!

Temp in my aquarium is maintained with a heater. It's usually 26-27 deg C and the shrimps thrive in it. I love my shrimps!
shrimps grow better in a round tank.
This is an aquarium shot I took this morning. The residents seem to be happy and thriving although my Peppermint Catfish and several loaches have hid themselves so well that I can't find them! That's the problem with creating so many hidey holes to make the residents happy - at any one time, you can't account for all of them!
I'm a bit concerned about an aquatic plant that's wilting... you can see it in the background, on the right-hand side.
See the rare Flame Moss in between the end of the log and the large brown stone? According to the aquarium forums, it's rare here in Melbourne... and I managed to get one! The shrimps love it!

Why so? I don't think so cause breeders don't breed them in round tanks.
Think they breed well in a much larger tank, with a lot of driftwood and moss and a temp of around 26 deg C. The aquarium shop I frequent has two huge tanks set aside for breeding the shrimps and I can see quite a few pregnant shrimps in their tanks! So kewl!

yes they do
i get my info from the CFO of limshrimp
from their RnD, they have discovered that shrimp do better in a round tank, so they don't "relax one corner"
Photos of my shrimps are very hard to take because they scoot away fast, and either my digicam is not good enough to take really really macro shots or I'm too goondusamy to figure out how to utilise it well.
Anyways, after attempting dozens of times since I got my tank, here are a few precious shots of my Crystal Reds.
This 'grass patch' is becoming threadbare because it's actually very very fine 'grass' (Riccia Fluitans) that's weaved with what looks like fishing rod strings onto a pane of glass and the residents have been sitting on it, sucking on it, eating it, crawling across it, etc etc and dislodging it bit-by-bit so it has become quite 'botak'. I was told that the striking colours are usually found in females and dull-coloured ones are usually males. So maybe, we're seeing a male and female here!
"The world looks different upside-down... but I can still eat in this position!"
I loved the common shrimps I had in my tank back in Singapore donkey years ago. Their legs were larger and more visible so you can see them using their little forelimbs to stuff food into their mouth at great speed! These are too 'refined' so you can't really see them doing that because they eat teeny weeny bits at a time. You see them around food pellets and on the plants and moss, apparently eating, but you don't get the satisfaction of really seeing them feeding in a frenzy. Haiz...

I don't know... I'm not a shrimper and can't be one with my space constraint. Maybe, they grow better in a round tank and breed better in a large one? In any case, round tanks are incredibly expensive.
I'm eyeing this tank that's the same width and length as my current tank, but almost double its height and it comes with its own wooden two-door cabinet underneath. But I am only allowed to eye it nia...
My Albino Longfin is sooooo shy, it's impossible to catch a photo of it, even in Sports mode!
But I did finally catch a photo of it trying to hide... can you spot it?
bonus are meant to buy things like these

No bonuses here!
what nonsense, no bonus
might as well flip table
Loaches swim like maniac psychos, jiggling and swirling here and there, sometimes in a figure-8 configurement. You can only shoot them when they are still... and I finally caught one of my five loaches at rest and possibly 'asleep'.

We don't have year-end bonuses like in Singapore. But I'm not flipping the table because I have salary packaging, which means more than AUD 8K a year off my salary is not taxable. I have also managed to claim sizeable amounts back from the govt from tax returns, so I am very happy with the no bonus arrangement.
