Wah lau....
That is like one tight slap to the face for the wedding couple.... go for good food and then pay for it with tissue paper....
What goes round comes round.... that fella who paid with tissue paper may end up getting tissue paper in the envelope that's supposed to contain his payslip....

Trying to eat lesser than I do. The prices of basic grocery and supermarket items have increased outrageously!
Also trying not to buy so many snacks and biscuits and what-not cause I always end up throwing them away anyways cause I can't finish the whole thing before the expiry date.
I should cut down on the reading materials I buy as well...

We've been hitting the library. No more buying books.
I've also consolidated my trips.
Since the hubster still works on the base, I don't make a trip to the commissary anymore. He does the shopping after work since it's a 30 minute drive from home.
We've changed out all the light bulbs in the house, installed an ultra low flow toilet as well as energy star appliances.

Oh, I forgot about that. I've replaced almost all of the incandescent light bulbs in my house with the energy-saving compact flourescent ones earlier this summer. The electricity bill I received for the first full billing period in which the new bulbs were utilized, was about 30% less than the previous month's bill.
I also tape transparent insulation film over all the window openings in winter to reduce heat loss; the furnace kicks in less as a result, reducing my natural gas bills.
I'm eating in school more often, and cutting back on making trips just to satisfy my cravings or try food outlets that are new to me.
The capitalist system needs us to spend MORE !! To recover ! We are doing teh exact opposite. We are all contributing to the inevitable demise of the world economy. SPEND !!! SPEND MORE !!
Those supra filthy rich ppl.. start spending !!! lol
