Since it's Halloween....
Do you believe in ghosts? Have you experienced any strange things? I've never had anything like that happen to me so I'm waiting to hear about your experiences.

Here is one of my rare experiences.
When I was about six my great grandmother worked me up at 4am for school,after that I complained to my father 'why did great grandma wake me up so early in the morning and is she already in Singapore?' My father immediately called Thailand and found out that his grandmother had just died.

A lot of scientific reseaches & investigations have been done through the years but to date there is no fatual evidence to confirm the existence of ghosts. At times photographic images will be produced to show something but more often than not, they are either doctored or faked.
Anecdotal revelations of people having seen a ghost are quite common but one must always remember these are all anecdotes as opposed to scientific data.

A few years ago I was driving through Mt Fuji with my wife and friend in the backseat to get to another city via a short cut in a forested road.Suddenly, we saw a very young pale looking lady in a track suit jogging through.I said 'What the fuck! its 2.30am and this girl is jogging out of nowhere'.My friend in the the backseat kept saying 'what are you guys talking about?'.It was my wife's first experience in seeing a 'Ghost'.

I did not believe in ghost when I was younger until some incident happened. .. . . We were training for a trip to Mt Ophir and were camping at Mandai. I was awaken as there seem to be some sound surronding the girl tent.. So I was asked to sleep there ... before I could doze off, I heard footstep. The sound was directly in front of me ( I was lying down the tent's canvas was just a few inches away from me ) there seem to be some one walking on the tent .. It was loud ... I opened my eye shocked and quickly I ran out to check ... there was nothing ... not even leaves dropping ... that was the first experience . . . my believes was then shaken ...

this one i posted before liao....
i was doing my NS then...was OOC...so very free to roam around when the company was having their training...
that night the company was having lecture and me and the other OOC decided to go take our shower first to avoid the crowd later..so we can sleep earlier...
when we were at the door of the toilet ( it is those one story type building with zinc roof), we heard scratching sound coming out of the toilet. Those u would hear when u scratch on the old zinc toilet door.
Both of us were shocked..So we applied standard SAF procedure and shouted into the toilet " Who's there? Identify yourself."
The scratching stopped...but no reply came from within the toilet...
We shouted again..."Who's there? Identify yourself. Dun play hor!"
No Reply.
We told ourselves we were going to go in and drag that joker out and skin him alive...
so we took broom sticks from the side of the toilet and went into the toilet...
Cubicle by cubicle we probed with the broomsticks...but we saw no one...We did the second round with me doing from one end and the other guy doing from the other end..
No one~~~
then of a sudden...hurried kicking on the zinc door...and hirred scratching on the zinc door...
we looked at each other and saw both our face turned pale..we dashed out of the toilet...
the other guy claimed he felt the entire toilet building was shaking...but one thing we were sure...we both heard the kicking and the scratching...but no one was in the toilet...
we stayed in bunk and waited for the platoon to come back from lesson before taking shower -
that was in 1980 ... the follow week, we track to Mt Ophir .. It was a public holiday ( 01 May ) .. so it was very crowded .. the first night when we camp at the first base, there was a very loub comotion coming from one of the camper group... three man was holding on to another guy. This guy was screaming and wanting to rush into the forest area and was shouting , " let me go, I must go and see him , let me go " ... his friend finally suduced him and tighted him to a tree ... the whole night he say the same thing ... then in the middle of the night, another one ( in the same group ) also go besek .... that night we did not sleep ... anyway, while this was happening, my girlfriend came very close to me ... I was worried about the whole situation and told her to go back to the tent and sleep ... the next morning to scolded me and told me the night before, she saw something green on the tree near her tent and she was afriad, that why she came to me ... I was such a fool to neglect her ...

The next day, the two guys that was tied to the tree, they did not know what happen and why they were tied there... then all of us proceed to ascend to top of the mountain. expect one who says he is too tired after the night ordeal.. he wants to stay bay to rest. When we returned, our tents were gone ... my friend actually shifted everything to the opposite side of the stream when all the other campers had left . . . Suddenly it started pouring heavily .... In the middle of the steam, there was a rock and there was a Malaysian family who make their camp on it. When the rain poured, the water level raised very fast. Soon this family found themselves in the middle of the rock hugging each other as the standing space was less then a 1m2. water level kept rising.. their barang barang were all washed away then… the water was iced cold and raising fast … down the stream is the water fall which is only about 20 meters away from them … they were stucked.
We were in our tent having dinner and did not know about it until we heard some NUS students across the stream shouting and screaming for help. These students were at our original campsite. Again, my friend got nothing better to do then to just go out and see why such a cold weather people is making this kind of noise.
He rushed back to our tent after he saw what happen. By which time the water level is already touching their feet. From the NUS student's position, they were not able to do anything as they are too far from the helpless. We were in a position to help then. Quickly, we throw some rope and asked them to secure themselves and at the same time, we manage to chop a tree to lower it to the victim. They then each one by one ( three of them ) crawl to their safety.
Till this day, I am thinking. There may be demon and ghost, surely there must be some almighty out there too ... one trip to Mt Ophir, I experenice so much ... I wonder if this is the way someone up there was trying to tell me that there are supernatural being ... Now I believe there is ... however, I also believe if you don't distrub them, they will leave you alone ...
