Ma Ling brand foods

  so, i was at the chinese grocery store today. and saw they had quite a lot of Ma Ling products. a bunch of canned vegs and fish. and some meats. i bought this one called 'flakes of ham'.

  anyone had this before? what is it really like? nice? not nice?

  i still tried to see if they had the trotters. no dice.

  all in all, i have these with me now:

  1 Flakes of Ham
  1 Luncheon Meat
  1 Cooked Pork Slices
  5 5-spiced Pork Cubes

  u had the flakes of ham before?

  what kind of 'flakes' is it?
  taste? what kind of ham?
  i just bought out of curiosity >.< hahaha.
  dun dare to open and eat until i know better......
  scared i no like >.< then will be wasted...=|

  wasn't ma ling the brand that got taken off the shelf recently?

  made in china products....show some restrain, steer clear of such products...the brand was previously marked to have contained a higher level of cancer inducing chemical i think...

  udon, I think the Ma Ling 5-spiced pork cubes are on the shelves because the peeps from wherever you are didn't bother to clear their shelves after the recent scare re Ma Ling canned pork products.  Here, in Melbourne, I was surprised to see a complete sweep of it off the shelves of Asian grocery stores, just like what happened back in SG. 

  By the way, those back in SG, have you guys seen any new batches of Ma Ling Bak Ting back on the shelves yet?  They are still not available here...

  if it's fibrous, spit it out.. it's probably cardboard..

  or melamine..

  or something..

  try not to apply on skin coz it may cause hormonal imbalance
