their armed services have Uzi submachine guns in service ... their airforce's A-4 skyhawks were ex-Israeli airframes .....
all this from a country that doesn't recognizes Israel ...

I think bullprop type rifles have never achieved any acceptance by soldiers who know their stuff.
Heck, the british SAS were using M-16s even though the british army was using that piece of crap whatsisname
