Yo, Pinky!! This thread is specially for you and I and all the other forumites out there who own our very own fish tank(s)!
BTW, just read your post in the other thread that your two new Gulpers pai si, ate six of your fishes. Your tank is really scary and like what 7-Eleven said, a lot of 'sha qi' in your house!

All look appetising except for the last photo... the prawns look like they're in a sauna tub or something, soaking themselves in murky, soapy water!

Bleh I don't think my fishes are that vicious compared to what some people keep eg. Gars
I got a huge scare last night.
See I put my pacman catfish in a little nursery tank in the main tank itself and for some reason, the nursery tank disloged and sank right to the bottom of the tank.
I was horrified because my pacman catfish is only a fry and around 6cm
It would have been a VERY EXPENSIVE feeder since I got it when it's around 4cm and it already cost me $96 bucks!!!
I was screaming for MPB to help me look for the fish and we took out all the driftwood and what not and found that it buried itself at the corner of the tank very safe -_-"
Anyway, it's back in it's little nursery. I'm buying a bigger nursery tank for it and I won't release it into the main tank till it's about 12 cm long to be safe -_-"
what the hell...how big is the tank to keep the gar? 2metres?

I don't keep gars la
Don't like them and they are messy eaters
Go look up youtube on some people feeding mice to their gars.... you should see the blood in the water -_-"
There are people who keep gars in their ponds
And those with the permit actually keep the arapaima as well -_-

Btw there is someone in Singapore with a custom built tank that is around 18 feet long.... that is over 5 metres in length!
Ok ma, my tank is a 5 feet tank... it's already over 1.5m
I love to resume keeping arapaimas again..some elephantfish or hillstream fish...

I notice the HUGE size disparity in the fishes you wanna keep :P
Currently my hubby is into Eartheaters
They remind me of sea bream to be honest and I feel hungry looking at them -_-"
I've always been a catfish person
Been complaining to him that the tank is for me to keep my catfish but in the end it's like filled with his cichlids -_-"

It's MPB fault
He waited till I sold off the wussy Gulper who got bullied and got 2 little monsters who ate up everyone in the tank -_-"
I have another monster who can make a snack out of the Gulper which is the Pacman cat.
The breeder whom I bought the fish from said when he tried comming his Pacman and 9" Gulper. He had to pull the Gulper out of the Pacman's mouth -_-"

Cichlids are very pretty and there are so many different types... but I don't like them. They are very vicious! The aquarium I frequent threw a dying goldfish into a tank full of Cichlids once and I felt sick watching them attack the goldfish and eat little chunks of it! Sick!!
Pinky, your aquarium is a scary place to be! The poor residents never know when they will be eaten!!
I got a very "peaceful" aquarium in comparison - nobody eats anybody else and I only allow sweet-natured fishes inside. The beefish gobies are the only grouchy ones but they haven't eaten anyone yet. I thought they ate the Crystal Red Shrimp but now, I'm not so sure because they've left all the shrimps alone since...
