Omigosh!! Look at the aquascapes in the gallery!!
That's the kind of aquarium I yearn to have!! Must must must look at James Hofteizer's aquascape... I am marrying that man!!
OK, I am also marrying Oliver Knott... that man has so many fantastic aquascapes and he even has a Zen Buddha aquascape!!!

No, he kept some amazon monsters in there
Oh you know we keep the feeder fishes in a little nursery tank in the main tank now and you should see the peacock bass hovering around it trying to see how he can get to the fishes inside.
Goldfish....we threw some in and one of the cichlids just ripped off the head of the goldfish

Pinky, your aquarium is a scary place to be! The poor residents never know when they will be eaten!!
I got a very "peaceful" aquarium in comparison - nobody eats anybody else and I only allow sweet-natured fishes inside. The beefish gobies are the only grouchy ones but they haven't eaten anyone yet. I thought they ate the Crystal Red Shrimp but now, I'm not so sure because they've left all the shrimps alone since...
The bumblebee gobies are ambush predators
They are very opportunistic and maybe one day if they are hungry enough.
Actually any fish that is a predator can be conditioned not to eat it's tankmate but it can still 'turn' one day because of it's natural instincts.
I've heard off too many stories where tank mates turn on each other because they decided to turn one day
It's in their nature
In other news my pacman catfish seem to have gone on a self-imposed fast -_-
I hope it's ok

it just ate too much

Ok it just started eating yesterday
I just think it's feeling stressed coz I put it in a floating nursery tank with feeders inside
And you get my Peacock Bass hovering around and other fishes hovering around looking at the feeders and trying to get to them. So I think the Pacman felt stress with so many fishes eyeballing him.
Anyway, I lost my last green terror and my red face monk to the 2 Gulpers -_-“ Each of them ate one.
I’m so gonna get a big nursery tank for them and train them to eat prawns
Grrrrrrrr
Actually, what's the thrill in watching predators hunt, torture and then eat up their prey alive?
Pinky, your aquarium is like a bloodbath, torture chamber ala "Saw", the series of gory, bloody horror movies with senseless violence and buckets of blood and human parts strewn all over!
My aquarium, by comparison, is like a sanctuary. I only select peace-loving, non-aggressive residents, with the gobies being the only grouchy ones.
And oh... I discovered that they aren't responsible for eating the shrimps cause I saw a dead one recently, body intact, entangled amongst the weeds. It had moulted cause there was a complete discarded shell right beside it, but I guess it somehow didn't survive the process. I guess that was how my first shrimp died too...
There is no torture involved
They are eaten whole

There's lots of torture involved! Imagine sitting in the corner with the predators swimming all around you, knowing that sooner or later, you'll be eaten alive!
aquariums are deathtraps... to both fish inside and owners

#1 My fish are all predators
#2 They don't stay in a corner and hide. They hunt too and it's unfortunate they ended up being the prey instead
Btw the fish that hide in one corner are the Gulpers but they are like some kind of death trap lurking in the dark -_-"
Btw all the fishes got eaten are compatible and were all getting along fine till MPB bought the Gulpers -_-"
In other news the bioload of my tank is super high
I have 2 giant filters with a flow rate of 1200 litres per hour and 700 literes per hour respectively and my tank is only about 700 litres of water and my filters are getting clogged like every week
Zzzzz
I feel like asking MPB to sell off the 700 L/Hr filter and get another 1200 L/Hr filter -_-"
The 700 L/Hr filter is already 1 bar down to the red light and that was cleaned 3 days ago!!!
One of my favorites

You should see them attacking baby frogs.
You will be amazed though a bit gruesome.
