Sorry to interupt ah .. How do i maintain this kind of fish? And anywhere i can see or read up on all this "predator fishy"?

Alamak which fish are you talking about?

Each one is different leh

But just basics you need a tank with good filtration and feed them meaty stuff like cut up frozen prawns, fish & sotong, blood worms etc. Don't need to give them feeders actually.

Got so many different species too.

Is there any particular characteristics you are looking for and a max size you are looking at or not

I think most easy and common one is Luohan or Oscars lor ><

Hmmmm .. I onli got Arowana at home .. Luohan is history lol hmmm for example garfish? I went and youtube it.. Look cool

I never appreciated Arowanas and Gars

Gars look cool but can grow very big and are messy eaters lor

I go for exotics like Gulper Catfish and Pacman Catfish :P Price also very nice la but cheaper than Aro

As for the Cichlids they are my hubby's babies but they are colourful and nice looking lor

Didn't know you are into fishes too.

In other news Piggy scrapped his underbelly on the driftwood and it got infected. He's under going treatment now though he hates it. He's eating greedily still though so that's fine.

Pinky, I can't wait to visit you and sit in front of you large tank and just have a chat whilst watching the fishes go about their business.

How's Shelly doing? I really love the name! Post pics asap!

BTW, I am still sooo ecstatic over the discovery of that little baby shrimp last night! I was beyond myself with glee! I couldn't believe my eyes because I hadn't prepped my tank for breeding and reading all those forums and web pages gave me the impression that you've got to go through a lot to encourage your shrimps to breed. I didn't do a thing and voila!... baby shrimp!!

I'm hoping that it's not the only one, and most importantly, that they all survive!

I haven't spotted the baby shrimp since that night. I hope the little kiddo is doing well...
