Eg - soon hock, sting ray etc
I've ppl askin me - eh, u eat your own fish u keep leh.... how can? Wun feel funnu meh?
(Ans is no - so long not MY fish frm MY tank, i'm ok)
Thou I've stopped eatin prawns. I feel like I'm eatin fish feed

I dun have a problem eating fish the same breed as what I have in my tank
As long it's not MY fish from MY tank, I'm ok too
I still love prawns and my fish eat better quality prawns than I do :'(

Actually am I weird? I actually find doing a water change for the tank extremely theuraptic.
I'm currently itching to do a water change for my tank right now but I can only do it tomorrow unless I do it at 11pm today
Actually I have done water changes at like 1am in the morning before coz "it's relaxing"
Or....maybe I'm weird >.<"

I've juz done mine
I like changin water too.. watchin the water slowly flow out.. and in...and out....
All but the part where the fishes loves poopin in clean clear water (-_-")
I've juz did another massive water change... almost full tank twice..
(AND STILL THEY POOP RIGHT AFTER I FINISH!)
And btw, I cant do WC at night. The dad will nag nag nag nag nag nag nag nag scream and throw things ard.
Very irritating

I think all fishes do that and turtles too coz mine does the same thing and my MPB will walk in and say "Are you sure you did a water change" $%%&^*
Same... I stare at the tank draining out and filling in.....it's relaxing

The 1st thing I came home to, was a stench of death.
I tot the dog crapped, but no.. it was worst.
My tank has been runnin on a canister for a while, and I'm usin a power head to remove excess food and poop frm the tank - on for only a few hours a day, as the power is too strong and affects other fishes inside the tank, on normally while feeding, so the food gets blown ard evenly (oh yes, it has a strong current as well - which is why i dun leave it 24/7)
Fishes normally poop and pee alot when feedin, u see.
Basically, I pulled the sis to the power point, SPECIFICALLY pointed to the powerhead plug which was outside, and told her to off tat one before she sleeps.
And i repeatly reminded her.. is OUTSIDE tat one... DO NOT TOUCH THE ONE INSIDE
And bravo.. she off the one inside. I woke up to find the powerhead on, and thinkin she forgot to off, went to off it as I was rushin to work
You really cant check stuff, when U need to wake up at 5am, walk the dog, prepare dog food, shower, brush teeth, change and leave the house by 6.30 (bus comes at 6.35am... i assure u 6.30 leave house = RUN)
and here's what i came home to.
Mama came home ... 1st thing she ask, U sure the gal is dead?
She looks so alive...
and Mama's fav yellow TFB.... the red was already growin in the fins....
These fishes might not be the prettiest nor expensive fishes... but each of them have their own character..
i'm sobbin now as i'm typing... already did more den 100% WC, soakin the DW in salt water to kill germs... and hoping the rest in the tank is ok.
boy boy was floatin at the tank top breathin heavily.... Tyre track eel was already swimmin sideways...
I'm now dwn to 1 Albino TBF, 1 Fire eel, 1 tyre track, 4 bichirs and my 1 male motoro.

Oh noooooo!!! I don't use Canister Filters so I don't really know what happened. I'm assuming the power supply to your oxygen was turned off?
I can feel your heartbreak! The poor fishies!!

Totally no movement of water.
for close to 12 hours.
basically a canister is a box u stuff wif cotton and whaterver u put in filters.
My system works that the water (and dirt) will get sucked into the little box, be cleaned up, and pushed out into the overhead filter where there are more cotton, coral chips and wadever ppl put into filters, and return splashing into the tank via the other side of the long box.
Thus I dun use an airpump, coz there's not a need for it, as water is always flowing.
So all fishes died due to lack of air, bravo
