i didn't save stuff last evening too.. was about to click save when MS Word spat the dummy and shut itself down.. followed by MSIE and Windoze Explorer.. the only thing still up was Lotus Notes..
and there was NO recovered file which MS Word usually does..
took me the whole morning to write the goddamned document again..

if I was working on a desktop I'd have gone Raid 1,2,3,4,5,6 ......
spent the whole afternoon taking the damm thing apart and checking what's spoilt ....
and that's my best machine ... with the most ram ....
I can't do shit on this piece of shit machine I'm using now ....

I dunno if I can duplicate everything ....
I set up that machine nice nice ..... runs everything from perl to prolog .... had a cgywin environment set up .... apache, mysql servers ......my own code utilities that I wrote for myself ...... environment paths, everything ... >.<
it's not just the code ......
and I'm not even gonna bitch about the music and pictures I had inside .... >.<
I am definitely getting drunk tonight .....
