  I hate ties ....

  I'll try to get away without wearing a tie whenever I can ....

  even if an event require suits, I'd go in a suit jacket sans tie .... 

  it's the most useless and frivolous piece of fashion in existence ....

  So where are you going later?

  I am glad it's Friday.  The day has been good so far.  It's my colleague's birthday today so I made her a chocolate pavlova and we just had it.  Nice to see everyone enjoyed it.  We will be heading to the pub for lunch later.

  So what's the plan for the weekend?
