  I know I won't enjoy parenting and will probably make a mess of raising a brat, hence the big 0 for me.

  And then you have other parents who don't raise their monsters properly, and I don't trust the brat to stay away from them or avoid their influences.

  Sadly, I can't trust society and the media to not screw anything I might try to teach as well.
