S$500k per annum is a tough target to hit, but not impossible...
1) Ask yourself are you a risk taker and can afford to lose everthing. If not, u can forget about this "dream"
2) Choosea trade or business which are promising but not many people practise
3) Identify where (in or outside Spore)is the most desirable market for (2)
4) Go ahead and build your career. Be patience, stay focus, and keep yourself updated
5) NEVER let go of any opportunity that comes your way
Sounds simple? But many people cannot get past the first step....

I'll give you a few tips :) in order of importance.1) Get married.
2) Both of you get jobs.
3) Don't have kids.
4) Get a bank loan and invest (invest means choose wisely) in a flat/property.
5) Stay with in-laws or parents.
6) Use rental to help with mortgage.
7) Profit when the time is right....(your eye on which property and what price to buy it at is also important.)
8) Add a dash of luck and the dish is served.

Get some knowledge and work hard to be an expert in it.
Do two seminars every month. Each seminar consists of 40 people, and for each person, you charge S$2000 for the seminar.
Your revenue will be S$160k a month. Minus off S$30k rental for prime location, minus off S$50k for employing pple to help you. You still get S$80k a month.
Multiply that by 12, and you get S$960k annually.
Pay tax, say around 20% of overall. You still have S$768k.
Donate S$268k to charity. You will get your S$500k annually. -
