Orchard Road light up. Nice?

Each year, I troll the internet for pics of the light up. I'm a sucker I know but I'm one of those who just enjoy strolling along that stretch to enjoy the lights. I haven't been able to do that for years so I'm doomed to find pics of it on the internet. Does anyone have pics of this year's light up? If you do, can you make on OS less lonely this time of year? :P

the orchard road light up this year is not as nice as last year.
and this year, there aren't alot of decrations at shopping mall...
i mean big malls like centerpoint.
oh, if you can see bear's fb, there are some pictures of christmas decors we took and a video clip of 4mins(musical xmas tree with lights effect) of this xmas tree which we took at Raffles city...which i think, so far is nice! I call it the LV look-a-like tree.
this weekend, we will try to take the tallest christmas tree at vivo city....
will try to share with you...

nope .. light as orchard road is not very nice this year..

some of the lights were switched off... i was like..erhh....forget looking it ...i din even bother to go take pictures this year.

It's okay, I don't come to Singapore for holidays that often. I remembered when I was younger I came to Singapore, the decorations back then was way beautiful.

and I pass by the horrible sight on the way and back from work everyday. and I keep seeing steven lim prowling around the orchard road area too, esp pacific plaza side.T.T

The thing is that I wonder where does he find those folks to actually pose in his video for him!Anyway, back to X'mas lightings... I guess Steven Lim can be the brightest light at Pacific Plaza coz you're bound to see him!!!

i think the christmas lightings in orchard looks very cheap this year...
the theme doesnt look very strong and to me, it is kinda like just putting all the items together...

hey jetta...another idea. how about showing us some of the xmas decor over your end? i guess being in california...you won't have the white snow background but it'll be nice to see what you folks did. -

There are only pathetic pockets of outdoor decor. I'll capture some and show you what I mean. Many people dress up the exterior of their homes. We have one area by my place where every house on the street decorates. It's a local tradition to go view the homes along Starlight Circle.
