That one very familiar.
Back from Vivocity, and I had a good look around the Nat Geo store. They've got a freezer room in there where you can see your own heat trace, but at -4 degrees centrigrade it was a wimpy kind of cold.
It was pretty cool, and you don't even need to buy any of their fleeces - just borrow one from the rack. I'll post my friend's trace in a moment.
Nothing beats stepping out of the Finnish sauna, going into the next room and letting air at -10 in through the chute (repeated thrice).
The Nat Geo thing was totally free - I didn't spend a cent in the store.
The sauna in the guesthouse (Guesthouse Borealis, Rovaniemi) was 5 Euro a go (for as long as you like). 2 of us paid 72 Euro/night for a room for 3. I miss heated towel racks.
a holiday in winter is fine .... but living long term in a temperate country fills me with dread ...
I think it's depressing ...
Heat trace!

Which is true - the cold, shorter days, fewer things to do in correspondingly shorter opening times. My friends don't enjoy it much, but I enjoy the break from insect infestations.

no .... it goes deeper than that ......
the passage of time seems to go much faster in a temperate clime ...
the seasons change before your eyes, and suddenly, another year is gone ... it's another season every few months, and you're always being reminded about how fleeting life is .........
I find it very depressing ....
*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Went to several M1 retailers to get a new handphone. Either the Sony Ericsson T700 or C902.
Almost all of them told me 'no stock' for these two phones.
Finally one shop had both phones.... but both in the colour that I didn't want.
Arrrgh..... I want a silver/black T700 or a black C902!
When you get your C902, tell me how good it is.....I might get that one after I ORD.
damn..I have been down and out since the BBQ. Doc took my blood and suspect Dengue....the test came out. although the dengue was negative, my blood palette is low so they took another test again just now...ouch!
