  I'm quite selective when it comes to eating fish ...

  I try to select species that are not endangered, or are likely caught by destructive fishing methods ....

  it's good for your health too .....

  think of it this way, sharks are apex predators, that means whatever toxins in the fish they consume get accumulated in their bodies, in australia the public sale of shark meat from many species is banned cos of the heavy metals concentrated in their flesh, and for a while, shark's fin from thailand (which is actually caught all around the region from the andamans to the arafura sea), were banned in singapore because of too heavy a mercury content .....

  you sure you want to eat that ? ..... I'm doing this not just to give my future little fatums a gift of an abundant and diverse ocean in the future .... but also thinking of the little tadpoles I'd need to product the little fatums in the first place ....

  and I'm not going to start on some of those live fish captured by cynaide squirting on the reefs you see in restaurants ...

  one of these days, when i have a place of my own, i'm going to make that venison dish he did a while ago..

  seems simple enough and looks so damned good...

  now to look for a big oven

  the Animal Planet show is hilarious.. downsize my pet..

  they make the owner eat the equivalent of the doggy diet... breakfast is 3 rolls with 6 strips of bacon, a huge bowl of muesli, 1 pound of cheese and 1 litre of milk...

  dinner was 2 chickens, potatoes, a whole cheesecake and 3 bowls of sweets..

  the dog kena go on diet... it's a chihuahua and it doesn't look pleased
