My room window overlooks East Coast Park.
Every Chinese New Year, East Coast Park and Changi Beach Park will turn into 'tent towns'.... seems that every single Malay family in Singapore will have the brilliant idea of camping there every CNY.
I'm in school now...... will take photos of ECP later tonight to prove my point.

Thankfully Sentosa and the surrounding islands are still intact after yesterday. However, she did tell me she's making a return trip on Tuesday. -

Forgot to bring my camera phone just now.
Anyway, it's tent city again at ECP..... I know that Malay families like to do this sort of thing on weekends (don't ask me why), but for some reason, they're more widespread during CNY.

Who knows? Maybe they want to show that the contestants are not dumb blondes after all?
I get reminded of the Miss Singapore Universe fiasco a few years ago......
A contestant was asked to describe some of the local food in Singapore. She flubbed the question, and then later KPKB about it in the local rags, claiming that she was a vegetarian and thus was ignorant of local food....
It's like WTF.... I don't eat pork, and even I know about bak kut teh and char siew rice.
