Coz the top countries with highest death/injury rates from accidents are in the ME/SA and given the propensity and extent of civil war in those regions in the past 10 years...I dunno, my take.

I think she means the no 1 and 2 of the lists eg SA (J'burg, Cape Town), Syria, Botswana. Sometimes I wonder how my friend survived 3-4 tours of Iraq. You should try Nigeria - guess how they disperse traffic for the car to go thru???!!! Soldiers fire machine guns into the air and miraclously, all cars will move to side of road for your car to pass.
