my soon-to-be-ex boss cc me in an email to our major client, now the client wrote back to ME asking if something is okie >.< i dun wanna noe wat my lady boss will say when she reads it....

i'm sick yest...much as i don't want to answer phonecalls from the office when i'm on leave, sometimes you just can't help it .. As long as your colleagues zi dong a bit, call you for really urgent matters instead of calling you whenever there is something minor .. You're on 1 day leave after all, not as if you are going on 2 weeks leave!
kpkb so much also no use .. nowadays calling ppl on hp is v common. Unless u turn off ur phone lor.

The problem is, these people are so incompetent and useless, that they call her every other minute. What'll happen if she's on a week's leave or something? Company can die already.

You never know leh. These things add up bit-by-bit and hopefully, by appraisal time, they would have realised how much they need you and give you a pay increment in appreciation!
I had a boss who used to call me at least once every time I called in sick. And then my colleagues would call me a few more times. Once, my boss even asked, "Are you really sure you can't come in to work today?" I mumbled something like, "Yeah, crawl there, then wear the carpet thin running to and from cubicle to restroom!" (I had diarrhoea that time).
That job almost killed me, but that was also the job where I had pay increments and bonuses too to compensate for the life that they have sucked out of me!

I think if you stay connected, and they know they can get away with it, they will get away with it.
Perhaps, if you go on leave and make it a point to never answer their calls / emails, they will get the message.

All her seniors already left already. She's the only one there that's left. All the new ones cannot work.
Once she gets a much better and deserving offer, she'll jump boat and that company will just rot.
She's already convinced, considering the fact that her main boss doesn't appreciate her efforts and commitment to the job, no pay rise, no promotions, but other people get more and work for less.
They are also allowed to take unreasonable amount of leave, like 1 week and all. In the end leaving her without a choice but to come back to work. One example is that CNY week. Some bitch took a week off, came back ad complain not long enough.

well .. i got free incoming on my hp anyway .. and i also scared if i don't answer their calls, then they can't do anything, later the shit becomes a bigger shit by the time i return to the office ..

I agree that her company is really very bad .. she really should move on to another company which will pay more and don't get so many shitty rules like the late for work and stuff .. and better benefits!
