A unborn Baby, more den 4 mths old, not belonging to the guy

Basically, someone I know under the age of 21 is more den 4 mths preggy.
Current guy called her parents up to inform them, and to tell them that he's willing to take on the role of the father, even thou the child is not his.
Parents are against the marriage, and against the dotter giving birth to the child.
Risk of abortion is pretty high, as the baby is already more den 4 mths has already formed hands and legs..
Girl unable to make the decision to get married, as under 21 require parents to consent, BUT she wants to give birth to the baby.

My mum was surprised to hear my 1st words - why she so stupid now den do anything?
2nd tot that popped up was.. even i the guy say he's willing to take care and be the father.... now say everything also easy. Say is mouth exercise wad.
What's your take?

My first thought was - two troubled people getting together for comfort and companionship.
I'm pretty surprised that the man is willing to take on so much responsibility. Perhaps, he's trying to get what he couldn't in his failed marriage? Men do think differently and they seem to get themselves busy in work or other activities to take their minds off their grief and sorrow. Maybe that's what he's doing - make himself the breadwinner of an instant family so he'll feel that he's worth something again. Maybe he thinks that will erase the sense of failure and disappointment in his divorce or something. I'm just guessing here...
I can tell you now that the typical Club 30 answer will be : It's their lives, they can do whatever they want.

My suggestion was tat the baby will b better off given away for adoption for a better life.
i'm not sure what you guys think.. but the girl is preggy wif prev bf's baby..... so tat means she's with this current guy for less den 6 mths?
And the guy is already sayin he wans her and the kid?
Even thou he's old enuff to be her father, if he was "lucky"?
But in a marriage... havin a kid frm a prev r/s is hard on the kid, IMO...
and wad if the guy's parents disapprove of the "grand kid"?
I dunno.. but there's always the risk of mental abuse.

best solution is probably give birth then offer for adopt.Don't marry. if want marry, later then say.
but then mentally once give birth, unlikely to give up one since she wants the baby.......... the girl also abit no brain so late then want to do anything.
The guy also like something wrong. don't know how long he know the girl. she 4 mths pregnant but not his means either she go and sleep around while they were together or they only got together less than 4 months (assuming they are even together)

But seriously if she can't decide I think it's better to give the baby up for adoption
No point getting married hastily to a man who wants to take responsibility....it's easy to say ...you never know what he thinks later....
Btw Fatum, not all men want to take responsibility. From what I see a lot of them like to fuck around but disappear faster than David Copperfield when a child is created.

personally, i'll suggest to birth and give up for adoption...but the few mths carryin the child... and watchin the BB grow... is something not all woman can give up.
heck, a fren of mine have a few dolls in her closets - 1 for each she aborted.
Cant imagine how much worst if you actually watch the bb grow day by day.....
as they say.. talk is cheap... so juz to use it as a gd food for tot...

hmmz good point, can screw him legally to get him to support the child (not sure if support her too). He doesn't have choice, held hostage on the girl's decision to have the kid or not

I still suggest giving birth....4 mths for abortion is too risky. Anyway parents tend to change their mind when the baby is born

Cannot abort, cannot marry. Answer: put up for adoption.
Plenty of infertile childless couples out there who want to adopt.
All I gotta say is, want to make whoopee, at least use protection.
And even then, always bear in mind that there is no foolproof protection, and all it takes is one micro-tear in the 'raincoat' for an 'accident' to happen.

I just wish idiots will STOP using abortion as a form of 'contraception'!
Abortion is horrible and yet, there are some idiotic females who go through it again and again and again! Lesson never learnt! I remember looking down a list for day surgeries when I was a nursing student and there were several abortions listed for that particular day. Sadly, three out of four were repeat abortions and we're not talking about 2nd time either, but 3rd and 4th times!
I was shaking when I watched the suction at work and seeing the stuff plop into the collection bottle... it was horrible!!

I think at this stage, marriage is going to be the worst option because of the circumstances.
I don't think the poor baby should have to suffer for the stupidity of the parents. It's best to give the baby up for adoption unless the girl's family is prepared to help raise the baby.
