oh.. a couple of days ago, someone was released from prison in Norway
he's a moron from the Black Metal band Burzum..
he was imprisoned for setting 3 churches on fire and murdering a rival (Euronymous) in a band called Mayhem because that band had a more evil reputation than his band

Boon Lay MRT station has a few such stalls selling chicken rice for $1.50 - $2, and other nonsense for about the same. Don't expect much in terms of quality though. The chicken rice is edible, but the "phad thai" is just mediocre CKT topped with peanuts.

That's a good point, although I'm not actually a fan of economy rice.
I've no idea how I'm going to survive work on Saturday morning, when my Mexican classmate's birthday starts at 10 tomorrow night. I think I'll skip the trip to Attica.

Than if I want more upmarket stuff I can eat at Ah Lam's kitchen where they have dunno what Abalone porridge for $8 bucks (of coz never go eat la)
But I do go for the Korean food at around $ 5 bucks a set
when the craving sets in
If not I go for the yummy Pad Thai which cost $4 but it's a lot and they are very generous
