the numbness is to check if there is a blocked nerve..
the pain in the leg is to check if there is a pinched nerve or a slipped disc..
if neither, and there was no trauma, that is, no fall or impact, there will be no fracture.. which means that the only thing left is muscle spasms/pulls/tears.. things like that..
and if you can walk, and it is better in 3 days, it's probably a pull.. a pull - let the body heal it.. with rest.. treat with painkillers/anti-inflammatories like aspirin, ponstan, indocid.. the salicylates.. those are very effective..
you'll be fine soon..
is it possible to have both a blocked and pinched nerve, albeit different nerves but in same area, say claves, hamstrings etc?
oh yah.. i have a zapper.. i must go use it on shoulders tonight

dunno.. just know what they're checking for..
i had a pretty messed up back which required surgery in the past...
btw.. no soreness after bowling 4 games yesterday.. spinning with a 10lb ball...
in a few weeks, i figure i'll be strengthened enough that i'm going to try using my old 14lb reactive ball again

I dunno I think the zapper is fantastic for pain relieve :x
yeah.. it's good stuff..
it tricks the nerves into not feeling the pain and also the electrical charges help short circuit the bits causing muscle spasms..
at least that's what the physio said

Ok I'm not sure about the trick behind it except that it works haha
For ppl with back problems it's like fantastic
you guys probably saved a lot of dough with that zapper. i went for physio every week for about 6 months and all they did was zap electricity thru me.

don't think my injuries were that extensive - it was only 6 months. and each session was only 30 min. just that the bother of going to and fro.
i think im having insomnia.. tossing and turning on the bed from 1am-4+am and then waking up at 6.30 feeling refreshed...
6 months is pretty intense for an injury...

is it? i thought it was pretty normal. guess they had to do it till it was at least 80% of what it was. even know, when i flex my foot, the "injured" one doesn't go back all the way as the other. but good enough for me to continue living.
i'm logging off...
maybe you're overdoing the exercise?
just a thought...

none of the typical "causes" of a blocked nerve applied to me. guess it's one of those random events.
ciao!

yep... gotch my paracetamols...
I'm still in the office
Zzzzz
Speaking of which I think I need to use the zapper on my leg
I dunno why but the muscle at the back of my left knee is feeling super tight
Good morning folks.

i'm turning into a horse

well, have you been fed apples, carrots, and sugar cubes as treats recently?
apples and carrots, yes.. sugar cubes, not yet.. coz i've not been that nice... ahahahaha
Morning all.....
How's everyone doing? Hope everyone is well.
all would be well if a truck ran over my mad boss.. a few times..
i don't even need a truck to run over her.. a really fast bicycle would do
it's bad karma.. but hey.. i'm honest
Your boss must be really annoying that you are constantly cursing her....
Not sure if anyone remember me talk about my boss from my previous employment when I was still working there.... Anyway, just got news few weeks ago that she got the sack. Apparently one of the clients put in a formal complaint against her.
