  i love libraries especially the old ones...

  Its now getting worse at Bedok Central Library.

  Every floor has a lot of retired ah peks, either trying to chit chat with their china girlfriends or snoozing there.

  I just recently encountered a group of 6 ah peks squatting at the library floor near the children section, because the seats are already filled with snoozing ah peks.  They were chatting quite loudly there.

  I remember that my dad used to bring me to the one at marine parade.

   

  It was an every weekend trip to that place. So much memories...

   

  Now its become NTUC supermarket. But the structure of the place somehow remained the same, especially the stairs that led you upstairs, just next to the toilet.

  Mos Burger at parkway parade also not bad.

  Because the restaurant is a sunken area.  Not a lot of people like to climb down those stairs.

  Can sit there, with 2 thrashy chinese novels borrowed from Marine Parade Library, read with a biggest cup of their Ice Peach Tea.  Easily pass two to four hours there.

   

  I also liked Kallang Stadium Macdonalds.  Buy magazines and sit there slowly read thru.

  Sorri hor.

  Auntie no longer like the atmosphere there.

  Even late night dim sum after shopping at Mustafa Centre better then going to far away places.

  I go there almost every day in the past .. Really not a very good chill out place .. The wind there will sorta make your skin oily, ppl showing off their cars and bike, toilet is an issue too but if u wan somewhere quiet to think thru .. U can try there at about 4am plus ..

  For 4am plus.

  Kallang Stadium Macdonalds & Labrador park macdonalds is best......got toliet, got aircon, got some light music listening and got drinks!

  Dont know the name of the spot or where exactly but it is near OCBC building where there is a small waterfall plus a bench to sit and relax.

  the pub at pasir ris beach.

  the pub nearest to starhub centre. the pub

  the pub at keppel bay.

  the pub on the top floor of The Central.

  the pub at the last corner of holland v.

  the pub at novena sq facing the x junction.

  the pub opposite SGH with a name similar to the once popular "cool" name favor by the HongKongers.
