  Other than the usual take-Mum-out-for-makan, does anyone have other suggestions?

  i'll get out of her hair by going abroad 

  then in a few days after Mother's Day, i'll buy her a pile of salted-egg crab...

  coz everyone knows during Mother's Day, the restaurants and whatever serve crappy food trying to increase their turnover for the day...

  Can always take mum out for a day trip instead of just going out to eat.

  Errr my mum would have just returned from Malaysia on Mother's Day itself. Haha

  my mum needs to cook for mothers day ..

  pot luck for family gathering..

  mum always complain that the mothers still don't get an off day on mothers day..
